Nikki have her acting skills from high school, where she starred in musicas. She moved to L.A. to go to college and started appearing in nude photo shoots to pay the rent - she was studying to be a clinical psychologist.
She became one of the top nude models, with layouts in mens magazines, including Penthouse. Tyler dropped out of college, attended makeup school and landed a job doing makeup for Vivid Video. She worked there for 1½ year before adult stars like Celeste and Ashlyn Gere convinced her to getting infront of the camera.
Her first scene was a girl/girl scene was in American Pie, and she followed that up with a scene with Jenna Jameson in VR69.
Nikki was rewarded with her own exclusive Vivid contract after just two films.
Check her out with Rocco Siffredi in "Nikki Loves Rocco". After Vivid, she signed a contract with Metro Video for one year.
Nikki left the adult industry after only about 30 features in 1997.
But she returned and looked ever better. She made a DVD product for Digital Playground "Virtual Sex with Nikki Tyler".
