Vanessa Lane (born October 14, 1983) grew up in New York with four brothers. Her family was conservative, with only Christian or country music played in their home. Athletic throughout her life, Vanessa participated in sports, including wrestling (on the boys' wrestling team), track, cross country, and cheerleading. She practices kick boxing, pilates, and yoga to maintain flexibility.

The day Vanessa Lane turned eighteen she began working as an exotic dancer. She worked her way along the East Coast, the Gulf Coast, and finally to the West Coast where she began working in adult films shortly after her twentieth birthday.

Vanessa's mainstream work includes an appearance on Dr. 90210 on E!. She wanted Dr. Robert Rey to redo her breast augmentation, replacing her saline implants with silicone implants, but the surgeon first postponed the operation due to her smoking, then canceled it altogether.
